Porsche 924 Targa Le Mans
Porsche built this special Le Mans version for the 924 models. This was on the occasion of the overwhelming success at Le Mans in 1979, where the brand achieved victory by finishing in the first four (!) during the 24-hour race. These limited-edition models were characterized by the application of the rear spoiler, originating from the Turbo version. Also the light-alloy honeycomb rims, Le Mans striping, 4-cylinder 125 hp engine (from Audi), leather gearshift gaiter, 5-speed gearbox and 4-spoke steering wheel. Only 1,030 copies of the Le Mans version were built. Only a very small number of them were equipped with the Targa roof, which makes this version very special, rare and collectible! In our opinion, the 924 is completely undervalued anyway. However, this model is also on the rise and is, in our opinion, an absolute potential increase in value! We can't see into the future, but some models just have "it" in them... So, now that they are still affordable, come along and be surprised and enjoy everything this rare Targa has to offer, and that's a lot, we promise you!
